Standards Today

For the EMVA it is of highest priority to support the development and the global acceptance of Machine Vision Standards.
Having widely established standards has been key for success of many technological innovations for decades, not only in industrial applications but also in everybody’s day-by-day.

To achieve this goal the EMVA is hosting several international vision standards like GenICam, EMVA1288 or OOCI and cooperates with other vision associations covering North America, China, Japan and Germany.

Titled ‘Standards Today‘ this section provides insights to actual news from the world of machine vision standards.
