ACTIVE SILICON
Faster interface boards in expanded FireBird range

Image Active Silicon is turbo-charging imaging systems with its new range of FireBird CoaXPress frame grabbers.
The 4xCXP-12 acquisition card (PCIe Gen3 x8; CoaXPress v2.0) is the latest addition. With speeds up to 12.5 Gbps per link, it supports the fastest cameras on the market and allows acquisition of high-speed, high-resolution images in real-time. The board is ideal for single or multi-camera solutions in high-speed industrial inspection applications. Based on a Gen3 PCI Express interface, the new frame grabber uses the ActiveDMA RISC-based engine to guarantee
zero CPU intervention, providing high-speed and low-latency image data transfers.

ATD ELECTRONIQUE
Six new Pregius S sensors added to portfolio

Image ATD Electronique has added six new Pregius S sensors from its distribution partner Sony to its portfolio. The stacked CMOS image sensors with global shutter function and back-illuminated pixel structure of 2.74µm represent the fourth generation of Sony’s CMOS Global Shutter sensor line. These new products achieve both compactness and high definition, plus distortion-free images of moving objects due to their stacked structures with the global shutter function made possible by the back-illuminated pixel structure. IIM
New versions of the LUMIMAX® LG Area Lights with LightGuide technology

Image The new versions of the Area Lightings convince with improved homogeneity and brightness values, since in all series – from LG1010 to LG4030 – the LED injections takes place on both sides in the light guide modules.
Furthermore, the mechanical design was significantly reduced by repositioning the cooling fins as well as the optimization of the light guides and the controllers. The dimensions and the weight of the new versions are about 25% lower compared to the predecessor models – with the same light field dimensions. Thanks to newly developed flexible cable outlets on the rear of the lights, the connection cables can be flexibly positioned.

JAI
New 45-megapixel camera delivers 8K resolution at more than 60 fps

Image JAI’s has introduced the SP-45000-CXP4, a new 45-megapixel high performance industrial camera in the company’s Spark Series.
The camera features a cutting-edge CMOS imager (with global shutter) capable of running at 65 frames per second in 8K TV resolution (7680 x 4320 pixels) or at 52 frames per second for full 8192 x 5460 (44.7 megapixel) 8-bit resolution. This makes it the fastest of any of the 40- to 50-megapixel industrial cameras currently on the market.
In addition to speed, the SP-45000-CXP4 delivers excellent image quality thanks to a dark noise rating of only 4.5 electrons, and a standard dynamic range of 67 dB. Read more ›
