Dr. Dirk Berndt is Head of the Business Unit »Measurement and Testing Technology« at the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation (IFF) in Magdeburg, Germany. Effective January 1st, 2021, the Fraunhofer Executive Board appointed Dr.-Ing. Dirk Berndt to Deputy Director of the Fraunhofer IFF institute.
Since 2018 Dirk Berndt is member of the EMVA Board of Directors and in this role he represents the EMVA in the Photonics21 Board of Stakeholders.
