AT – AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY
Adding smart technology to IRSX infrared camera series

Image Intelligent sensor technology is playing an increasingly decisive role in the advancing digital transformation in industry. With its IRSX smart infrared camera series, AT-Automation Technology offers for the first time a solution for intelligent temperature image processing.
With their app concept, the cameras are based on the same principle which is familiar from smartphones: the loaded app decides on the functionality provided. Almost any number of apps can be stored on the camera and it is also possible to switch between them within a very short time during operation. This opens up completely new dimensions of flexibility for practical use. Read more ›

BITFLOW
Helping Mount Wilson Observatory Capture Celestial Images

Image Located on Mount Wilson, California, Georgia State University’s Center for High Angular Resolution Astronomy array (CHARA) is the world’s largest optical interferometer and has delivered landmark sub-milliarcsecond results in the areas of stellar imaging, binaries, and stellar diameters. CHARA is comprised of six separate telescopes across Mount Wilson that act together as one enormous telescope to attain the resolving power to define amazingly small details. To operate, the light obtained from each telescope is combined and a final reconstructed image can be observed that is of far higher resolution than would otherwise be possible. Read more ›

INSPEKTO – Quick solution for new QA need

Image ~ The leader of Autonomous Machine Vision is using its signature product to inspect FFP2 face masks ~

A manufacturer based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, recently installed the only Autonomous Machine Vision system on the market, the INSPEKTO S70, for the quality inspection of FFP2 face masks. The results are positive — the system ensures that masks are made to specifications and that the manufacturing line is not damaged in the process.

To help in the fight against COVID-19, Inspekto, the German-Israeli pioneer of Autonomous Machine Vision, has made its signature product available to Univent Medical GmbH, a face mask manufacturer based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, who recently established a new production line to respond to the pressing market demand for emergency supplies.

MIDWEST OPTICAL SYSTEMS
MidOpt® BP340 Near-UV Bandpass Filter

Image BP340 UV Bandpass filters are an economical yet highly transmissive/high contrast alternative to far more costly thin film interference filters.

This design combines rugged dielectric coatings and absorptive filter glass to ensure a highly stable passband and excellent out-of-band blocking, even when used in conjunction with very short focal length lenses. It also makes it possible to supply larger custom shapes and sizes – up to 165mm square – within a matter of days.

BP340 finds use in UV fluorescence, forensic, scientific, multispectral, machine vision, sensing and other imaging applications.

SACCADE VISION
Saccade-MD – The World’s First Multi-Directional Scanning Profiler

Image Saccade Vision, has developed an innovative 3D machine vision solution for industrial dimensional inspection and vision guided robotics. Employing proprietary, patent-pending technology, Saccade simulates the way human vision works, by ‘zooming’ into important information on the measured part and by disregarding the non-useful information.
This unique approach allows the Saccade sensor to perform highly precise and fast three-dimensional measurements and inspection by focusing only on critical locations and increases machine vision robustness on various materials and in different lighting conditions. Read more ›

VISION COMPONENTS
High-end MIPI camera modules for medical technology

Image In the new FXO camera series, SVS-Vistek relies on the new Pregius S sensors from Sony, the powerful nBase-T and 10GigE interface. This very small 10GigE camera with C-mount is characterized by speed and an extraordinary image quality.

The new sensors deliver excellent image quality with a dynamic range of approximately 70 dB. Even with insufficient object lighting, when the camera is operated with a gain > 0, the images of the FXO series images show excellent homogeneity and exceptional quality. The basis for this is, on the one hand, the integrated Pregius S sensor with relatively small pixels of 2,74 x 2,74 µm and, on the other hand, a sophisticated heating concept. The heat distribution in a camera plays a decisive role in image homogeneity. Read more ›

XIMEA
New camera models with Sony CMOS Pregius S sensors

Image XIMEA, the innovator of small size and high-speed cameras, has announced the addition of new models with exceptional Sony CMOS Pregius™ S sensors.
The initial line up will start with camera models based on IMX540, IMX541, IMX542 and continue with other sensors from the Sony 4th Generation Pregius S family.
To the outstanding features of the next evolution of Sony CMOS sensors belong the small pixel size in combination with BSI – backside illumination technology.
The small pixel allows even the sensors with high resolution of 24.5 Mpix to stay very compact contributing to closer proximity for multi camera setups. Read more ›
