High-resolution Newcomer: ace U with 20 MP and Sony’s IMX183 Sensor
Four new ace U models with the IMX183 rolling shutter CMOS sensor from Sony’s Exmor R series extend the portfolio of our most successful camera series, the ace. The cameras offer a resolution of 20 megapixels with a sensor size of 1″ and a compact design with 29 mm x 29 mm footprint. They deliver frame rates of up to 17 frames per second. These characteristics make the four new ace U models particularly attractive for inspection of the finest structures, such as in printed circuit boards or display production. Constant increases in the resolution of modern displays require ever-higher resolutions in the inspecting camera. Read more ›
