LogiMAT ’24 | EMVA Member Booth
19 - 21 March 2024 | Hall 2 booth 2C18, Stuttgart, Germany

LogiMAT 2024 – International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management will take place 19 – 21 March 2024 in Stuttgart, Germany.

LogiMAT has followed through on previous year’s success and continued its growth trajectory in 2023 by once again filling the entire exhibit space to capacity, maintaining a strong exhibitor contingent, and attracting the highest number of visitors in 20 years. All told, it’s the best result in the history of the intralogistics event. The international character of the trade show was bolstered by companies from 39 countries, with exhibitors from outside Germany accounting for a full 35%. Machine Vision is becoming more and more important at the LogiMAT.

For the first time, the EMVA will be exhibiting together with seven EMVA members: one Fraunhofer institute and six vision-tech companies, will be showcasing Vision-Tech solutions with high user benefits for the logistics sector.

These include the flexible inspection stations for parcels or products on conveyor belts from co-exhibitor phil-vision, as well as the time synchronization technology for mobile robots and vehicles presented by Vecow. Advantech will be showing its range of AI-supported Jetson platforms; computer systems and industrial cameras. The Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF will be showing three developments: a LiDAR- and AI-based workspace analysis as well as live demos of a sensor-based process monitoring system and the in-house developed RFID wristband. EMVA-member Vision Components will be focusing on embedded vision for OEM intralogistics projects. Roboception will be premiering at the trade fair: The provider of intelligent robot vision platforms and systems is about to present its latest 3D stereo sensor live for the first time at LogiMAT 2024. Last but not least, Murrelektronik, which specializes in discreet automation technology, will be showing a cabinet-free installation for industrial image processing with the industrial M12 standard that demonstrates barcode recognition live and in action

The expert forum Machine Vision – Key for Logistics 4.0 at LogiMAT 2024, organized and moderated by the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA), takes place on Tuesday, 19 March at 3 p.m. in the LogiMAT Arena at the East Entrance of Messe Stuttgart.

In his introductory lecture, EMVA Board Member Dr. Ronald Müller will present current trends in machine vision and provide an overview of numerous machine vision solutions. The focus will be on their added value in a wide range of logistics applications, from parcel logistics and warehouses to intra-logistics in production facilities. This will be followed by compact short presentations by vision-tech companies with a specific focus on logistics:
