Toni Ventura-Traveset is the founder and the CEO of DataPixel and member of the board of Innovalia Association. He has more than 30 years of experience working in digital imaging, machine vision, 3D vision and metrology. He is an expert in high accuracy 3D vision based dimensional metrology applications at the micro and in nano-scale, and in automatic 3D pointcloud processing and analysis.
In the research field, he has extensive experience in European Research Programmes, participating in more than 100 European projects since 1987, and consultant and advisor of both European Commission and the Spanish and regional governments. In the academic field, he has been associated professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia since 1989, publishing articles, participating in scientific and business conferences and international committees.
Mr. Ventura is elected member of the Board of Directors of the EMVA (European Machine Vision Association) since 2003, and was its President from 2012 to 2015. He is also one of the founders of the association.
