NET launches small form-factor Gigabit Ethernet camera
NET New Electronic Technology GmbH is using AUTOMATICA 2008, which is being held on June 10-13, 2008, in Munich, Germany, as an opportunity to the release the smallest Gigabit Ethernet camera in its GimaGO product line.
The German developer and manufacturer of digital and analogue cameras and custom-imaging technology says that the systems, based on charge-coupled device (CCD) technology are designed to meet users' stringent technical, space and cost requirements.
The new line of GimaGO CCD cameras are offered in a small industrial housing measuring 40 mm x 40 mm x 45 mm, and are capable of operating at fast frame rates at a VGA to UXGA resolution.
Specific features of the GimaGO cameras include auto-iris lens control, time-stamp function and opto-isolated trigger input and strobe output.
All product models are supported by the company's viewer and software development kit (SDK) which are compatible with libraries from both Matrox and National Instruments.
