Jan-Erik Schmitt, formerly Sales Director at German company Vision Components GmbH, has been recently appointed Vice President of Sales.
He is now responsible for all of the firm's sales activities, including strategic targets in Germany and abroad, coordinating and expanding the international sales network and key account management. The company's founder and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Engel, will remain responsible for technical development.
The enterprise was founded during 1996 and has since grown into an international, leading provider of intelligent image-processing systems and technology.
