Visitors to stand 55 in hall 6 at the VISION 2008 trade show, which is being held in Stuttgart, Germany, on November 4-6, 2008, will be able to see EVT Eye Vision Technology GmbH's recently released EyeSpector 800 Series, which is targeted at the sensor market.
With its compact and robust metal case, measuring 50 mm x 35 mm x 140 mm, the ES800 series has been developed for use in harsh industrial environments. The lenses are built in the unit's housing. The company says that the compact housing makes the unit especially suitable for use in systems employed by the semiconductor industry.
The system also includes an Ethernet port and 24 V digital I/O, an RS232 interface and four LEDs for displaying system status.
Also now available from the firm, which is based in Karlsruhe, Germany, is a cross-head unit for the EyeSpector models in the 1xxx, 2xxx and 4xxx Series.
