CC320 trigger timing controller saves engineers time
Vision Light Tech (VLT) of Uden, The Netherlands, is offering a trigger timing controller which, it claims, helps machine-vision engineers easily solve a range of problems and saves them time.
VLT describes the CC320 controller, developed by UK firm Gardasoft Vision Ltd, as an easy-to-use system that is designed to accurately time component sensing, camera triggering and reject gates. Timing can be based on precise delays or, using an encoder, on the exact conveyor-belt travel.
It helps users to rapidly integrate various different component parts into a fully operational machine-vision system. The CC320 offers eight input channels and eight output channels, and enables a host of devices, such as cameras, proximity sensors, encoders and reject gates, to be quickly connected to a system.
The sequential timing from one process to the next is then simply programmed into the unit. Set-up is carried out using the embedded push-button interface or through the intuitive configuration software via the controller's Ethernet port.
In short, the CC320 is an economical, single-component unit enabling system integration in a fraction of the time that is usually associated with other techniques, says VLT.
