Point Grey joins MVTec Partner Program
Point Grey Research Inc, a Canadian company that specializes in digital camera systems, has joined the MVTec Partner Program.
"Openly sharing information related to each other's products will yield valuable benefits for our mutual customers," commented Michael Gibbons, Product Marketing Manager at Point Grey Research.

All Point Grey IEEE-1394 cameras are fully compliant with the 1394-based Digital Camera Specification (or DCAM), which means they are compatible with all software packages and drivers that support this specification.
MVTec Software GmbH, a supplier of standard software products for machine vision applications, which is based in Germany, launched its official MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program during December 2007. It says that the programme is designed to strengthen cooperation in the development and maintenance of image acquisition interfaces, and in potential customer support cases. It also ensures that both parties are in close contact and have sound knowledge of each other's products.
