Northwire relocates and expands its operations in Asia
US-based Northwire Inc has relocated and expanded its operations in Asia. The new facility, located in Jiangsu Province, China, includes a 492-m2 (5300-ft2) warehouse and 316-m2 (3400 ft2) office.
"Demand for Northwire products has increased significantly around the world, and we have expanded in response," commented Allan Lin Hong Jin, General Manager of Northwire's operation in China.
"The previous Asian operation, located in Shanghai, did not include a warehouse - it was simply a sales office. With a warehouse in China, we will be able to expedite shipping to customers and distributors throughout Asia."
The new facility will stock a wide range of bulk cable products for distribution to customers in China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam. In addition to expanding its facilities in Asia, Northwire has also increased its sales force in the region.
