AVT appoints its hundredth employee
During March 2008, Allied Vision Technologies GmbH (AVT) reached another milestone in its corporate development when it appointed its hundredth employee.
Jan Kuczora has been employed as the camera manufacturer's new production planner at its headquarters based in Stadtroda, Germany.
"The fact that our hundredth employee is a production planner is significant. It shows that we are adapting our processes to fit the company's new size and guarantee our customers a high standard of service as demand increases," commented Frank Grube, Director of AVT.
The company says that it continues to experience steady growth in the expanding market for industrial and scientific image-processing systems. Since the introduction of the first series of AVT cameras during 2002, the firm has increased both its sales and its staff. In 2007 it expanded its sites in Germany. The office in Ahrensburg moved into a larger research and development centre (with its entire research and development department); and a new building at its corporate headquarters in Stadtroda doubled its production capacity.
In the first quarter of 2008 alone, more than 10 new employees were hired at the firm's two sites in Germany, says Natalie Bulling-Chabalewski, Human Resources Manager at AVT. During 2008 the company is planning to be even more involved in training talented new recruits.
