Active Silicon specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of digital imaging products and technologies. This includes video acquisition components and vision systems on a variety of standard and specialist operating systems. Frame grabbers include the Phoenix, LFG and Snapper in PCI Express, PCI, PMC, cPCI and PC/104-Plus form factors for Windows, Mac, Linux, QNX and VxWorks platforms. These provide acquisition solutions for a wide range of applications supporting analogue, LVDS, HD-SDI and Camera Link (including PoCL) cameras.
Other products include their embedded vision systems based on the COM Express industry standard and custom imaging systems.
Active Silicon can also provide a wide range of consultancy services for the design and integration of imaging equipment into OEM machines and end-user systems. This often extends to the development of custom hardware solutions such as the new ETX based embedded products.
