EMVA Conference 2012 - over 100 participants from 19 countries registered already

The list of participants of the 10th EMVA Conference (April 19 to 21, 2012 in Lisbon, Portugal) is continuously growing. Have you already registered?

Opening keynote „The Future of the Euro” by David Marsh

David Marsh is a frequent media commentator in Europe and the US, a former European editor of the Financial Times and considered a leading authority on the European currency. His book „The Politics of the New Global Currency” which was re-released in 2011 as „The Battle for the New Global Currency”, is an acclaimed analysis of the history of the Euro.

In his keynote, David Marsh will give his own angle on the topic. Can Greece, accounting for a mere 2.5% of the total GDP of the European Monetary Union, eventually be such a threat for the future of the Euro? Are all the measures that have been taken just buying time? Will Eurobonds become an option if there is a shift in political power? In his keynote, David Marsh will dismantle the myths about the future developments in the Eurozone.

Further highlights of the conference include:
  • Machine Vision Market Updates (Brasil, Portugal, Europe, Global Update)
  • Merger Endgames:The Urge to Merge for Machine Vision?
  • Transcultural Management
  • Technology Updates: Camera Development, Infrared, 3D and Wireless Electricity
  • The EMVA Young Professionals Award
  • Face-to-face meetings that can be arranged by the participants in advance using our B2Match technology.
The conference venue will be the Tivoli Hotel Lisboa in the very heart of the city. The Friday evening event in nearby Cascais, overlooking the ocean, will provide the perfect backdrop for establishing valuable contacts. To find out more and register online go to: www.emva.org/lisbon
