EMVA Standard 1288 Working Group Membership

The standardization working group, unifying the most important suppliers, distributors and end users of Machine Vision cameras has 
elaborated a modular approach to define step by step an increasing set of parameters. The chosen parameter definitions are based 
on physical properties and units. The standard comprises the mathematical model behind the parameters, the measurement setup 
and the matching of the measurement data to the model as well as the data presentation. Application notes and guidelines for the 
data acquisition and interpretation of specification parameters have been elaborated.


The working group is chaired by Prof. Dr. Bernd Jähne, Heidelberg Collaboratory for Image Processing (HCI), 
University of Heidelberg.
