Compliant products
There are basically three types of GenICamTM compliant
products: cameras, transport layers, and software libraries. The rules
specifying which products are considered to be GenICamTM compliant are listed in the GenICamTM license document.
The GenICamTM standard committee will provide a checklist for
each type of product (camera, transport layer, library) allowing
individual vendors to verify compliance of their product(s) with the
standard. Products passing all required tests are considered GenICamTM compliant and may be advertised using GenICamTM logo.
