Active Silicon introduces a conduction cooled, 3U CompactPCI Camera Link frame grabber






 Designed for extremely rugged environments this new addition to the Phoenix range operates in temperatures of -40ēC to +85ēC, is fitted with a conduction cooled assembly and has support for VxWorks. These features make the board ideal for the harsh environments found in industrial, military and aerospace applications. This Phoenix D48CL-3CPCI32 utilizes rear panel I/O and supports the 32-bit/66MHz CompactPCI (cPCI) bus. The Camera Link interface encompasses dual Base/single Medium configurations, including PoCL cameras, at 60MHz pixel clock rates, and the comprehensive Software Developers Kit supports application development not only under VxWorks but also Linux, QNX and most other operating systems. In the specialist image-grabbing market, Active Silicon is probably one of the most respected innovators of leading edge vision technologies. The well established Phoenix and LFG products provide high quality yet affordable image capture solutions for a variety of video sources. Both the Phoenix and LFG products are supported worldwide and compatible with all the most popular (and many specialist) operating systems, including Windows XP and Linux (both 32-bit and 64-bit variants) …plus XPe, DOS, VxWorks, Solaris, Mac OS X and QNX. Along with traditional form factors such as PCI and PCI Express, Active Silicon is renowned for supporting more specialist interfaces such as PC/104-Plus, PMC and CompactPCI.
