Basler expands its management board
The supervisory board of Basler AG, a manufacturer of digital cameras for industrial applications, medical devices, traffic systems and the video surveillance market, has appointed Arndt Bake to its management board.
As the company’s chief operations officer (COO) Bake will be responsible for product management, and production and supply chain management. He will complement Dr Dietmar Ley and John Jennings, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, Basler, respectively.
Bake has a masters degree in electronics engineering and an MBA. After joining Basler in 2001, he took responsibility for marketing the digital cameras business segment (Components). From 2004 to mid-2009 he led the Components business segment. For the last 18 months or so he has supervised the entire operational business of Basler.
